About the role: This role reports to the CEO and would suit an experience admin or finance officer. You’ll have responsibility for payroll, finance, HR admin and other general administrative duties to ensure the organisation runs smoothly.
The role is part time, and we envisage this would equate to approximately 30 hours per week. We understand the value of work/life balance and would consider flexible arrangements, including job share for the right person/s.
About you: You’re a reliable and enthusiastic individual who takes ownership of their work and can demonstrate being highly organised with a sense of urgency. You will be customer focused, take pride in detail and enjoy the variety of dealing with customers as well as administration work. You will utilise your previous administration &/or bookkeeping experience to support our team and ensure the smooth running of the organisation. A basic understanding of IT troubleshooting is required, and experience in maintaining a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system would be an advantage.
The position will require liaison with key stakeholders at an operational level and you will be confident in your verbal and written communication skills.
To be suitable for this role, your experience and qualifications will include:
· A high level of computer literacy skills.
· Strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Experience reconciling bank statements and ensuring financial transactions are properly documented.
· Experience with accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
· Ability to prepare financial reports for the CEO as needed.
· Experience with payroll processing and related administrative tasks.
· Experience maintaining filing systems for financial, HR and administrative documents.
· Experience with CRM systems or similar databases (desirable).
· Proficient in bookkeeping software MYOB and MS Office (especially Excel).
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
· High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
· Lived experience of autism will be highly regarded.
· A current (or ability to obtain) National Police Check, Working with Disability (yellow Card) check and a Working with Children (Blue Card);
