Description:
We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our Allied Health Hub at Upward Life Family Practice.
This is a part-time role of 3-4 days per week and requires a candidate who can work efficiently and autonomously in a busy practice, whilst maintaining attention to detail and demonstrating a compassionate approach to patient care. We are looking for individuals who embrace cultural acceptance and celebrate diversity.

The Allied Health Hub consists of a Speech Therapist, Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Hypnotherapist and Gender and Neuro-Diversity Clinic.
The Opportunity
You will be working closely alongside our Practitioners and reporting to the Practice Manager to provide a high level of reception and administrative support, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and be part of an exciting new clinic offering a supportive environment for the gender and neuro-diverse community.
Duties include;

Greet and check in patients to the clinic

Managing patient data and enquiries

Answer and direct a high volume of incoming calls, messages and correspondence

All aspects of billing

Liaising with external health care professionals when required

General administration duties.
Skills and Experience
The suitable applicant should have at least 1 year experience as a medical receptionist or administrator and have worked in a high-volume role. Previous experience within a GP practice or allied health setting would be advantageous. Previous experience with Best Practice or similar is desirable but not essential.

Must have the availability to work Monday to Thursday, between the hours of 7:45am to 5:30pm.
