Your new role
They are seeking an experienced Communications Advisor with a strategic mindset to help shape, deliver, and manage their internal and external communications strategies. This organisation is navigating several major projects, including HRIS implementation, reform, and EA negotiations. They are looking for an autonomous Advisor who enjoys being hands-on and will:
Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies.Create and manage content for various communication channels, including press releases, newsletters, social media, and internal communications.Distil complex information and negotiation points into clear and concise messages for the broader organisation.Collaborate with key parties to ensure all communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with organisational messaging and objectives.Monitor and respond to media coverage.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including media, partners, and the community.Based in Hobart, this role will be offered on a casual basis, full-time hours for approximately 4 to 6 months.
What you'll need to succeed
You have:
Experience developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies, both internal and external.The ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to diverse groups.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently with competing priorities.Outstanding writing skills.The ability to work independently with minimal input and are adept at working in an Agile environment.A degree in Communications or Public Relations, or significant relevant experience in the field.
