- Part-time hours (2 days per week), c ontract position
- Base salary $88K to $94K paid on a pro rata basis
The Role
The ABC is looking for a Researcher to provide support to the ABC’s internal language functions and facilitate the provision of timely and accurate guidance for content makers.
The Job
- Provide administrative support for the ABC’s internal language functions.
- Attend and contribute to internal language meetings and stakeholder meetings.
- Assist in producing internal and external communications on language guidance.
- Develop training materials and provide language-related training.
- Conduct research and maintain language resources, such as the pronunciation database and style guide.
- Manage correspondence and assist in creating audience-facing content related to language functions.

About You
You'll have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent skills in linguistics, editing, or related fields.
- Well-developed planning, administrative, and organisational skills.
- Advanced knowledge of newsgathering and production techniques.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders across all organisational levels.
