Tassie Smiles Dental is looking for an experienced dentist (preferred) to join our growing private practice. This role is a ‘full-time’ position and is an independent contractor (SFA) model (commission). The incumbent will service an existing loyal patient book and will be expected to maintain and continue to develop the book going forward.
Located on the beautiful eastern shore of the Derwent River in Hobart, we provide general family dental care to our loyal and growing patient base which we have developed over the last 12 years since opening Tassie Smiles. We offer the following quality equipment including;

and modern facilities with a pleasing atmosphere for our patients.

Initial visit comprehensive consultations,

Invisalign.
Note: We do not offer Amalgam restorations material and applicants comfortable with composites in all areas.
The practice only has select preferred provider arrangements with two health funds; CBHS, HCF. We also offer Medicare CDBS as well as DVA billing facilities.

The successful applicant should have;

Excellent chair-side, oral, written and non-verbal communication skills.

Be proficient in English.

Have the ability to convey and motivate comprehensive treatment plans.

Outstanding technical, diagnostic and surgical skills are also highly valued.

A gentle, empathetic nature and the ability to comfortably treat all ages is extremely important.

A strong work ethic and commitment to grow the business through best practices, dedication and loyalty are essential.

The applicant will be expected to achieve CPD benchmarks in-line with the relevant guidelines and hold current APHRA registration as well as have suitable Professional Indemnity Insurances in place.
