Description:

The Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) is looking for a skilled communicator with experience managing stakeholders to support Queensland’s role in providing services to Norfolk Island.

Queensland’s service agencies work in partnership with the Federal Government and Norfolk Island to provide services including health, education, corrective and apprenticeship and traineeship. This partnership enables Queensland to nationally showcase its service excellence and foster relationships with the community of Norfolk Island.

If you are skilled in providing policy and operational advice, building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and preparing documents to support government decisions, we want to hear from you.

How You'll Contribute

In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping Queensland's service delivery for Norfolk Island by:

Leading projects to develop and implement legislation and service delivery programs for Norfolk Island.

Partnering with stakeholders to deliver best practice policy and services advice to the Director, Queensland Cabinet, and Federal Government.

Collaborating with, and supporting, Queensland services agencies to deliver to Norfolk Island.

Developing policy and service options for Norfolk Island for government consideration.
