THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and organised individual, looking to develop their career in administration. As a member of our Children's Services team, you will play a crucial role in managing recruitment and rostering processes. You will gain hands-on experience in job ad management, candidate selection, onboarding and administrative support, while ensuring efficient and compliant operations. This role offers a valuable opportunity to learn and grow with a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain the confidentiality of all employee records and sensitive information.

Communicate within the team regarding the status and progress of assigned tasks, promptly raising any concerns or issues. Seek guidance when needed.

Answer phone calls at Head Office promptly and professionally. Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries promptly and within the scope of your knowledge and experience. Direct other enquiries to appropriate departments or individuals

Provide general administrative support, such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and mail distribution.

Undertake additional duties (commensurate with knowledge, experience, and classification) as directed
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
This role will suit individuals who have:

Strong organisational skills - You will need to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively to ensure recruitment and rostering activities are completed in a timely manner.

Excellent communication skills - You will be the point of contact for both candidates and staff, requiring you to convey information clearly and professionally.

Attention to detail- Ensuring accuracy in job postings, candidate information, and staff qualifications is critical to maintaining compliance and operational efficiency.

Problem-solving abilities - You should be able to think on your feet and resolve issues related to staffing and scheduling as they arise.

Experience in recruitment and/or rostering (desirable) - Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable, though not essential if you have transferable skills or a willingness to learn!

Tech-savvy - Proficiency with recruitment platforms and time and attendance software will be advantageous.
