In this fast-paced, high-impact role, you'll lead Food Safety, quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), and technical operations, driving compliance and continuous improvement. Your expertise in leadership, process improvement, and risk management will be key to optimising technical operations while mentoring a high-performing team.
What’s involved?
As Technical Manager, you’ll lead Food Safety, Quality, R&D, Operational Risk, and Process Innovation across the group and oversee:

Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a small but effective team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering a culture of Food Safety excellence.

Process Improvement & Technical Support: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and support manufacturing processes for optimal performance and product quality.

Quality, Food Safety & Compliance: Oversee the implementation of food safety systems and compliance with industry regulations, including SQF Practitioner responsibilities.

Audits & Statutory Compliance: Lead internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, optimise material flow, and implement new technologies to enhance production capabilities.
About You:
We seek an experienced professional in Quality, Food Safety, and Compliance within FMCG manufacturing, particularly in food, beverage, or pharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate holds qualifications in Engineering, Food Science, or a related field, with expertise in process optimisation and operational efficiency. Strong skills in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and project management are essential. Success requires strategic thinking, hands-on leadership, strong communication, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making.
