Role Details
The Collection Manager, Biological Sciences Terrestrial Invertebrates, is responsible for the collection, preparation, identification, incorporation, loan, scientific study, and interpretation of specimens in the South Australian Museum’s Biological Collections, with particular responsibility for the Terrestrial Invertebrate Collection, and for facilitating public and research access to these collections.
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
- This role requires a National Criminal History check.
- Desirable qualification: Bachelor of Science or similar
