What this role includes:
- End-to-end Accounts Payable Processing
- Accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Manage purchase orders and monitor expenditure
- Assist with month-end processes and reporting
- Engage and resolve supplier queries
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Participate in the annual audit process
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the accounts payable process
Requirements:
The successful applicant for this position must have:
- 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable positions.
- Finance qualifications or similar experience in tertiary education
- Current Blue Card or eligibility to apply for a Suitability Card to work with children.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Direct administrative and data entry skills with the ability to work independently.
- Experience using major accounting systems such TASS, Sap, Xero etc. and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and experience in updating and retrieving data for accurate reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to interact effectively with external and internal stakeholders.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and continuous professional development.
Conditions:
