Community Projects Officer – Part-Time Position (Job Share)

The District Council of Yankalilla is seeking a Community Projects Officer to foster strong connections between the Council and local community groups. This role aims to empower these groups to achieve meaningful outcomes in line with the Council’s Strategic Plan.
Position Details:
- Type: Part-time, 0.4 FTE
- Term: 12-month maximum term contract
- Flexible Working Arrangements: To support a healthy work-life balance
- Office and Field based work
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and deliver community development projects and initiatives
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with community groups
- Promote and achieve the goals of the Council’s Strategic Plan
Key Requirements:
- Enthusiastic about networking and engaging with new people
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including proficiency in social media
- Good knowledge of the community services sector
- Ability to work outside of standard business hours when needed
- Physically agile and adaptable, this job requires out of office work at events and in the field.
