They have recently won several large industrial concrete projects for blue chip clients in WA’s Pilbara region so are now seeking a SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER with extensive insitu concrete and structures exposure, to come and be part of their ongoing success.
About The Role
As a permanent SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER working FIFO 2/1 roster ex-Perth , you will be responsible for overseeing technical execution of insitu and structural concrete scopes on minesites and industrial process plants, mine camps or NPI infrastructure such as footings & foundations, plinths, columns, ring beams etc. These scopes of concrete works will typically be valued $50-100m. You will lead and mentor teams of on-site engineers and staff while managing costs, budgets, forecasting and subbies during the delivery stages. If you possess proven experience in a similar role as SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER on these types of insitu concrete and structures projects, you can expect a remuneration package to match the best on offer in WA CIRCA $180K Base + 45% Site uplift = $260K + Super.
Skills & Experience And Other Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering5-10 years’ experience as Project Engineer/SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER on large insitu CONCRETE scopes of work in Australia (essential)Exposure and experience working on a FIFO roster on concrete/structural projects on remote mining, oil & gas, energy, water, renewables, defence or civil infrastructure projects (ie. Bridges, crusher structures, reclaim tunnels etc)Excellent all-round communication and leadership skills to mentor and guide junior staffStrong financial and commercial management skills as well as forecasting and reporting capabilitiesExisting rights to live and work in Australia
