Work Location: Fortescue’s Perth CBD office located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.
Roster: Monday to Friday (flexible hours, with childcare creche available)

Joining Fortescue as an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for providing drafting and electrical design services for existing and new assets across Fortescue's operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide electrical design and drafting support for a range of projects and engineers.
- Produce Single Line, Detailed Schematic, Termination Diagrams, and layouts.
- Ensure the accurate recording of revisions and tracking of documents.
- Maintain the quality of the drawings, produced in accordance with Fortescue standards.
- Review drawings from external consultancies for compliance with Fortescue standards.
- Contribute to the development of Fortescue specifications and standards within this area.
Qualifications and Experience
- Electrical TAFE qualification or Bachelor of Engineering Electrical.
- Solid project experience within the resources industry across non-process and process infrastructure assets.
- Demonstrated experience in developing detailed schematics for HV systems, 400V systems, intelligent electrical equipment (VSDs, motor protection relays), process control, PLCs, and industrial automation systems.
- HV and LV reticulation detailed design experience.
- Proven experience with AutoCAD, 3D Modelling, and MicroStation.
- Results-driven nature, self-motivated, and accountable, with a drive for excellence.
