This business has a global presence, operating in 40 countries around the world. They are industry experts and were founded over 150 years ago. The business has a diverse workforce comprised of specialist engineers and corporate staff through to technicians, operators and customer service professionals. The business is focused on providing environmentally friendly, safe and convenient services to a growing client group. They are looking to appoint a HR Business Partner to join their People and Culture team in Wanneroo.
This role will see you join a national HR team providing generalist HR support, advice and project delivery to a national client group. The role will call upon the expertise of a seasoned generalist who is comfortable in providing generalist support whilst also providing consistent execution of the HR plan.
Key Accountabilities:
Business Partnering: Understand business needs, drivers, HR solutions and delivery of HR strategies, align people function with business imperativesDemonstrate strength in Employee Relations/Industrial Relations: i.e negotiations, investigations and representation, policy and procedural review Workforce Planning: structures, position design, advice and supportOrganisational Development: leadership development, training and talent development, training initiatives and programs and performance managementPerformance and reward: Deliver the annual performance and reward cycle for the DivisionOversee the talent acquisition efforts for the business, ensuring a pipeline of talent and consultation with hiring managersActively promote a positive and consultative HR style to the broader businessParticipate and contribute as a change champion within the business in line with the business, growth and change strategies.
The successful candidate will have considerable experience within a similar role/environment, outstanding relationship building, coaching and influencing skills. You will also have a solutions-focused approach and deal with issues and change in a proactive, positive way. You will be degree qualified in Business and/or Human Resources and previous experience working with a unionised client group will be highly regarded.
