Mount Hope Pastoral is an Australian family business operating a large-scale livestock and cropping enterprise spanning three properties in the Far West/Southwest Riverina districts of New South Wales. Located 130 kilometres north of Hillston, the station focuses on managed goats, sheep, fodder production, and a trade cattle enterprise in good seasons. The business is committed to innovation, sustainability, and employee development.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with all day-to-day livestock handling.
- Mustering with motorbikes/buggies.
- Operate machinery for cropping activities.
- Maintain fencing, water infrastructure, and general station upkeep.
- Work with farm software and mobile platforms for record-keeping.
- Contribute to ongoing infrastructure improvement programs.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience with livestock or a strong willingness to learn.
- Competency in operating farm machinery and equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Ability to drive manual vehicles.
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Appreciation for regional and remote living.
