Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving commercial growth and leading high-performing teams? We are seeking an experienced Head of Commercial to take on a pivotal role within a dynamic organisation.
About the Role:
As the Head of Commercial, you will work closely with the General Manager and senior team to maintain and enhance their market-leading commercial position. This role involves leading end to end transactional activity of commercial agreements and partnerships, identifying new business ventures, and driving strategic initiatives. You will play a key role in business development, performance improvement, and commercial deal negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a small highly capable Commercial team across diverse key strategic initiatives.
- Identify growth opportunities, create proposals, and deliver go-to-market strategies.
- Participate in high-level negotiation, execution and management of commercial agreements.
- Focus on performance improvement and cost reduction strategies.
- Identify business development opportunities through appropriate exploration and modelling (including the building of valuation models and the identification of synergies).
- Lead, develop and implement corporate development opportunities, including end to end M&A processes and deal thesis/business case development and Board/Executive approval process.
- Participate in and lead as required, strategic projects as determined by the Board.
What We’re Looking For:
- Suits an outgoing, high energy professional with a background in either IB, Corporate Recovery or Commercial, and Partnerships Management with strong negotiation skills.
- Strong finance and analytical background (including advanced Excel skills), with the ability to build complex financial and valuation models.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate high-level strategies into actionable plans.
- Demonstrated capability in leading diverse teams.
- Related tertiary qualifications.
