Description:

Graduate Accountant role in a high-growth business offering broad finance exposure and professional development.

Your role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Banking & Reconciliation: Uploading payments, monitoring cash balances, and ensuring timely reconciliations.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Supporting invoice processing, supplier payments, and cash collections.
  • Bookkeeping & Reporting: Assisting with daily bookkeeping and preparing key financial reports.
  • Compliance & Lodgements: Ensuring ATO Activity Statements are lodged on time.
  • Audit Support: Working closely with external auditors to provide key financial data and insights. Employee Support: Processing staff reimbursements and allowances.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with internal teams and project managers to improve finance operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contributing ideas to enhance finance processes and promote a positive company culture.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A recent Accounting/Finance graduate or someone in the final stages of their degree.
  • A strong desire to build a long-term career in finance & accounting.
  • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (bonus points for experience with accounting software).
