Their finance team plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth international transactions, and they are now looking for an Accounts Payable Officer looking to learn new skills and take on a Foreign Currency Administration.
The Role
As the FX Coordinator, you will learn and be responsible for managing foreign exchange transactions and ensuring the seamless execution of international purchases and payments. Reporting to the Foreign Exchange Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders regarding exchange rates, payment methods, FX hedging, and Letters of Credit.
  • Assisting in the creation and management of FX hedges.
  • Creating and maintaining Letters of Credit.
  • Recording international transactions from purchase through to payment in financial systems.
  • Supporting Accounts Payable teams with timely payments of invoices.
  • Ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with internal processes.
  • Collaborating with key vendors and internal teams to maintain smooth financial operations

The Candidate
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised professional with:
  • Previous accounts experience, ideally with exposure to foreign exchange transactions.
  • Knowledge of FX hedging and Letters of Credit.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a process-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • A team-player attitude with a problem-solving mindset
