Salary Package: $107,378 per annum pro-rata plus super

The City of Karratha is seeking a dedicated Creditors Officer on a
permanent part time basis, to assist in accurately processing claims and
payments for creditors and external organisations.
Based in Karratha and offering an attractive salary and a range of other

department, ensuring timely and efficient financial processing.
Responsibilities:
• Maintaining Council’s creditor records
• Verifying claims and facilitating payment approvals
• Liaising with staff to ensure the timely receipting and approval of invoices
• Ensuring payments are made on time to receive discounts and avoid penalties
• Processing weekly payments, refunds, and other related tasks
• Preparing and maintaining registers of costing types (e.g., Power, Water, Telephone)
• Assisting with reconciliation of the creditors ledger
• Managing petty cash advances and stationery supplies
The successful candidate will possess:
• Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within a financial services environment
• Skills: Strong numeracy, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge: Basic knowledge of accounting principles and GST regulations
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheet management, and computer-based creditors systems
• A current HR class driver's licence
• A National (or Federal) Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
