Your opportunity

As a Field Construction Officer located at Kilkivan you are a skilled and competent tradesperson who performs a pivotal role in supporting the work group from a technical and work planning perspective, i.e. planning and organising pre-construction activities, and providing in-field technical support to ensure work is undertaken in an effective and efficient way. The Field Construction Officer also utilises high level trade skills to undertake or lead field based construction work.

What’s on offer?

The remuneration for your new role is from $134k - $155k + $7k Field Supervisor Stream allowance + 14.75% superannuation + more

What you’ll bring

  • A Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certification as an Electrical Linesperson or Electrical Fitter Mechanic or Electrical Supply Industry Technical Serviceperson or Electrical Jointer.
  • Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship or an Australian permanent residency.

We’d also love you to have:

  • Well-developed written and interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships.
  • Previous experience in planning and organising pre-construction activities.
  • Availability for call out and emergency work.
  • Willingness to travel to surrounding area from time to time to undertake work.
