About Townsville Cranes
Townsville Cranes is a well-established crane hire company dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a full time Administration Officer.
The Role
As an Administration Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Administrative Tasks:
- Completing quarterly BAS lodgements and other ATO required lodgements.
- Maintaining accurate records of equipment, including maintenance schedules and certifications.
- Preparing and processing various documents, such as work orders, dockets, and permits.
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and website enquiries.
- Assisting with invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Coordinating with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintaining a well-organised office environment.
- Performing general office duties, such as reception tasks, filing, photocopying, and scanning.
Data Entry:
- Inputting and updating information into our computer systems, including customer details, inventory, and project related data.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a highly organized and meticulous individual with:
- A Certificate III in Business Administration or a related field, not a requirement but preferred.
- A current driver's licence.
- At least 5 years of administration experience, preferably in the construction or heavy equipment industry.
- Proficiency in XERO accounting software.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
