About Townsville Cranes

Townsville Cranes is a well-established crane hire company dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a full time Administration Officer.

The Role

As an Administration Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Completing quarterly BAS lodgements and other ATO required lodgements.
  • Maintaining accurate records of equipment, including maintenance schedules and certifications.
  • Preparing and processing various documents, such as work orders, dockets, and permits.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and website enquiries.
  • Assisting with invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Coordinating with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintaining a well-organised office environment.
  • Performing general office duties, such as reception tasks, filing, photocopying, and scanning.

Data Entry:

  • Inputting and updating information into our computer systems, including customer details, inventory, and project related data.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly organized and meticulous individual with:

  • A Certificate III in Business Administration or a related field, not a requirement but preferred.
  • A current driver's licence.
  • At least 5 years of administration experience, preferably in the construction or heavy equipment industry.
  • Proficiency in XERO accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
