Description:
The Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) is implementing Queensland's Child Safe Organisations (CSO) system including a mandatory child safe standards scheme and a reportable conduct scheme as outlined in the new Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 (the Act). In this role you will coordinate cultural safety advice across both the Policy & Design and Education & Capacity Building teams within the Commission. You will work with regulators, peak bodies and government stakeholders to ensure the QFCC provides best practice and authoritative advice regarding the process to establish cultural safety. You will draw on strong engagement skills and show agility and innovation to support regulators and peak bodies to implement the legislative framework.Your expertise will inform policy, design and capacity building projects and key deliverables of the Commission.
