Description:
As the Principal Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small team to deliver operational priorities to enhance the delivery of courts’ services. You will also work collaboratively with other units within CSQ to ensure that projects impacting operational areas align to the Project Change and Implementation Framework.Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery and implementation of CSQ operational priorities to deliver agreed outcomes, including improving the delivery of courts' services across Queensland Courts.
- Support and contribute to the provision of high-level change management and leadership in the analysis, design, development and implementation of operational priorities and related business strategies.
- Translate the Change and Implementation Framework into operational practice
- Work with Senior Officers to provide oversight and management of change across work areas through high level documentation and reporting
- Analyse, develop, design, and coordinate the implementation of project plans to deliver operational priorities
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to understand the requirements to deliver operational priorities and provide oversight across various projects
- In collaboration with the established project teams:
- monitor the progression of projects to ensure that stakeholders areas understand any impending changes and are properly equipped and support to successfully integrate the change.
- oversee the transition and embedding of projects within the operational areas, including the identification of any gaps and the escalation of any adverse impacts.
- Lead and prioritise the generation of ideas to enhance operational change processes to improve service delivery.
- Represent Statewide Court Operations in a variety of forums, when required.
- Manages a team providing effective guidance, coaching, and mentoring.
- Detailed knowledge of the justice system and court processes.
- Analyses operational frustrations, practices, or procedures to define the problem or objective
- Works within relevant project and change management frameworks in the delivery and implementation of operational priorities
- Responds to emergent issues through establishing and maintaining appropriate networks.
- Collaborates and negotiates with stakeholders to develop implementation options.
- Completes workload within established timeframes and adjusts priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
- Writes and edits concise, accurate submissions, briefs, and correspondence.
- Contributes to workplace equity, diversity, respect and inclusion.
