Description:

Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit (BIRU) are looking for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join their team. The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) provides operational management in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager (NG7) of BIRU. In supporting the NUM, the ANUM provides leadership and direction to Nursing staff and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of safe, quality, and cost-effective nursing care consistent with contemporary standards and best practice within BIRU.

About the Role

  • Demonstrate specialised knowledge, experience, and advanced clinical skills/competence in neurorehabilitation nursing practice and theory.
  • Monitor and encourage the Professional Practice Model values being embraced and embedded in all nursing care.
  • Utilise advanced specialist clinical knowledge to evaluate the standard of patient care provided by the nursing team and report outcomes associated with findings.
