Key Responsibilities :
- Product Recommendation & Application Management :
- Assess clients' financial situations, needs, and objectives to provide tailored mortgage solutions.
- Identify and recommend the most suitable products based on a thorough understanding of the client's needs, market trends, and available lending options.
- Navigate the selection of appropriate lenders based on clients' profiles, ensuring competitive interest rates and loan terms.
- Lender Choice :
- Stay up to date with the latest offerings from a wide range of lenders to provide clients with the best possible options.
- Develop strong relationships with key lenders to facilitate seamless application processes and improve the chances of successful outcomes for clients.
- Network Leverage & Business Growth :
- Utilise and expand an existing network of clients, referral partners, and industry contacts to generate new business and expand lending opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with referral partners such as real estate agents, financial planners, and accountants to drive consistent business growth.
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities through networking events, social media, and other channels to maintain a steady pipeline of clients.
- Customer-Focused Approach :
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage process, ensuring that clients are fully informed and confident in their decisions.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing clients with relevant information, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Guide clients through complex mortgage processes, offering clear advice and support to make their experience as smooth as possible.
- Experience :
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Mortgage Broker, with a proven track record of successfully managing a diverse client portfolio.
- Experience in identifying and recommending suitable mortgage products and navigating the application process with various lenders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with clients, lenders, and referral partners.
- Skills :
- Strong knowledge of the Australian mortgage market, lending policies, and industry trends.
- Experience using CRM systems to track client interactions and manage leads.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial products in a simple and customer-friendly manner.
- High level of attention to detail, particularly when managing client documentation and applications.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
