TAFE SA are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Childcare Workers for the following roles in our Childcare Worker Casual Pool.

To be successful you will need:
Qualifications for Childcare Worker Level 2
- Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification recognised by licensing authorities.
- Current Responding to Risks or Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care training certification required.
- Current First Aid certification required.
Qualifications for Childcare Worker Level 2.5
- Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent qualification recognised by licensing authorities.
- Current Responding to Risks or Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care training certification required.
- Current First Aid certification required.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team environment.
- A clear knowledge and understanding of issues and practices relating to childcare.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
• Some out of hours work or inter/intrastate travel may be required.

• It is an ongoing condition of employment for all employees whose employment is subject to a Health Direction/site requirements, including but not limited to an Emergency Health Direction, that they are fully compliant with the requirements of the relevant Directions in order to perform their duties.
