What you'll do

As a Program Support Officer your role will be to contribute, support and manage the effective client-focused financial, human resource and administrative services for the Mental Health, Alcohol & Other Drugs Branch (MHAOD) as well as provide comprehensive and highly organised executive support that is both professional and personalised to the Senior Director, Analytics Improvement and Transformation Unit. About you

We are searching for someone who has demonstrated:

  • High-level skills and competencies in the delivery of effective and efficient quality administrative support services.
  • Proven experience, skills and knowledge of departmental processes and reporting requirements and the ability to extract, collate and interpret financial information.
  • Sound knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues such as workplace health & safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination with the ability to provide leadership, direction and advice within a team environment.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality, work autonomously, use discretion in the absence of decision makers and the ability to initiate and finalise matters with specified work timeframes.
