The Manager, Enterprise Applications Enhancement, leads a team of experts focused on business requirements and ideation for future developments. This team also runs business as usual processes critical for department and business needs.
This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis.

About the Role
The Educations Systems Management directorate is looking to fill the vacancy of Manager, Enterprise Application Enhancements within the IT Branch at the Department of Education. This role is multifaceted and dynamic in the way it operates across the department. Heading up a team of experts, the role is expected to work with the Director and other managers to create and foster an agile and high productive culture within and across ESM.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Establish, maintain and build effective relationships a range of stakeholders both internal and external to the department.
- Promote and action a culture of continuous improvement across the directorate's program of work and support processes.
- Manager human and financial resources
- Lead an manage teams to build team capability in effective and productive work practices.
About You
You will be expected to hit the ground running and bring with you experience, skills and competencies. This include but are not limited to being:
- A strong communicator both verbally and written
- A inspirational leader able to motivate and galvanise team members on a variety of scopes of work
- A history of working in agile methodologies for development as well as project management, bringing a continuous improvement mindset to your work.
- Experienced as a Product Owner, Scrum Master or Agile coach (optional)
- Tenacious and committed in delivering quality results
- A collaborator first and foremost.
