Join Parklife Metro JV as a Graduate Engineer to work on a transformative Metro project in Western Sydney.
Your role
Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements and complete assigned duties.
- Shadow senior staff, ask questions, and assist where possible.
- Raise concerns and suggest improvements when appropriate.
- Observe health and safety regulations at all times.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and training initiatives.
- Analyze data and write reports according to specifications.
- Take notes and share findings with supervisors and stakeholders.
- Establish professional relationships with staff.
- Maintain professionalism and diligence.
- Complete all outstanding defects within the scope of work.
- Attend site safety meetings and monitor WH&S Committee recommendations.
- Participate in risk analysis and safe work method statements.
- Report accidents and incidents according to procedures.
- Maintain project schedule by coordinating activities and resolving problems.
- Assist with preparing project status reports and change orders.
- Contribute to team meetings and perform as a team member.
About you
Qualifications
- A recent tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management.
- Previous experience in construction is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A passion for construction.
