Be part of the specialised team where you will guide strategic community infrastructure planning projects in multidisciplinary project teams. You will prepare strategic studies and support the delivery in the planning and development of community infrastructure projects based on a thorough understanding of the Cityâs population and demographic profiles.

Communication and engagement with the community is essential for this position, giving you the opportunity to utilise your well-developed communication and facilitation skills, when consulting with a wide range of stakeholders. A team player, you are able to guide, plan, organise and prioritise multiple projects. You have a demonstrated knowledge of community development and/or infrastructure planning as well as knowledge of contemporary theories, trends and demographics in community, sport, recreation, culture and social development.

You will need to hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Social Science, Project Management, Infrastructure Planning, Community Development or in a related discipline and associated specialised experience.

A current âCâ Class Drivers licence is essential along with a National Police Clearance.

  1. Tertiary qualification in Social Science, Project Management, Infrastructure Planning, Community Development or in a related discipline and associated specialised experience
  2. Sound knowledge of project management theory and practice
  3. Sound knowledge of community development and/or infrastructure planning
  4. Experience in a strategic planning, facility management, or project management role delivering community development services, or community planning and / or infrastructure outcomes
  5. Strong organisational and administrative skills

We are offering a gross salary of $99,138 per annum, and:

  • 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
