About the Job

  • There is an exciting opportunity with the Shire of Esperance for a Customer Service / Licensing Officer. The Customer Service/Licensing Officer acts as the first point of contact for the public in regard to general customer service enquiries, receipting of monies and transport licensing transactions, assist with other finance related duties.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to all customer service enquires including telephone and counter enquiries.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve routine enquiries.
  • Process Department of Transport transactions and Shire transactions and issue receipts.

This is a permanent full-time position, working 38 hours per week.

About you

In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:

  • Working knowledge of cash receipting procedures.
  • Sound customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Benefits

Salary : $67,323.00 per annum

Permanent staff are entitled to:

  • 5 weeks annual leave per year
  • Minimum of 11.5% superannuation employer contribution
