Our client, a department of the Australian Government responsible for consolidating the Government's efforts to drive economic growth, productivity and competitiveness by bringing together industry, energy, resources and science, are seeking the experience of a Technical Analyst / Writer for a long 12+12+12 month contract.

Duties of the Technical Analyst / Writer

  • Configure and maintain Dynamics 365 and Power Apps solutions including workflows, business rules.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners to understand system functionalities, integrations, enhancements, defects etc.
  • Analyse business requirements to document functional and technical specifications.
  • Participate in solution design discussions and provide insights into documentation needs.
  • Participate in defect triaging by analysing and prioritising issues raised during testing or in production.
  • Investigate, document and track defects to resolution, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Provide feedback on technical designs and proposed solutions for clarity and consistency

Skills and Experience Required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in using modelling and visual design languages such as BPMN, UML, SysML, SDL, flow charts, etc.
  • Experience in agile software delivery, including the production of agile artefacts, user stories, and participation in ceremonies.
  • Experience in producing system, security, and business documentation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and enterprise applications built on the platform.
  • Experience with agile project and team management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, etc.
  • Relevant ICT qualifications or industry certifications (desired).
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft cloud ecosystem such as Azure, Dataverse, Office 365, Power Platform etc (desired).
  • Knowledge of the delivery of government grants and financial management processes (desired).
