Description:

The Role:

The role will be a contact point for consumers, families, carers, support workers and clinicians and will be required to work with and prepare sensitive and confidential correspondence and coordinate a range of administrative tasks and documents.

As part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, Mental Health Services principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency Policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies, the Administrative Officer:

  • Undertakes a range of high-level administrative functions for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Team including supervision of administrative staff and the coordination of administrative processes.
  • Provides high level day to day administrative support services to CAMHS.

Details of appointment:

Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 21 October 2026.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

  • Current Working with Children Registration
    *Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
