Join Our Team as a Quality Risk and Safety (QRS) Coordinator: Drive Quality Improvement and Ensure Patient Safety in the Riverland Community

We are seeking an experienced Quality Risk and Safety (QRS) Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring that the health needs of country people are met through effective quality, risk, and safety systems. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to healthcare improvement, work collaboratively with key stakeholders, and support the delivery of high-quality services across the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network.
About the Role:
As a Quality Risk and Safety (QRS) Coordinator , you will be responsible for contributing to the strategies, processes, and policies that ensure the health needs of the Riverland community are addressed. You will prepare detailed reports from system reviews, providing trended and comparative data to inform decision-making. This role requires you to liaise with key stakeholders and collaborate with staff across multiple sites, including Community Health and Mental Health services, to drive important quality and safety initiatives.
Your key responsibilities will include coordinating the delivery of quality risk and safety functions, ensuring that the systems in place for patient safety are effective and efficient. You will be responsible for analysing and reporting on non-compliances, recommending or initiating corrective actions where necessary, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in consumer services. Additionally, you will play a significant role in contributing to risk minimisation strategies, driving forward continuous improvement across healthcare services.

What We're Looking For:
- Experience in the preparation of reports, briefings, and correspondence of some complexity.
- Experience in establishing, maintaining and reviewing systems, practices, protocols and procedures.
- Proven experience in undertaking research activities, including collecting, analysing and reporting on data.
- Experience in project management.
