The Currumbin RSL Group is one of the most reputable employers on the Southern Gold Coast, providing career paths for the 185 local community members who currently call Currumbin RSL their workplace of choice. The group is made up of a number of businesses including Currumbin RSL a licensed club, Dune Café an offsite café and the Veteran Support Centre. Our primary purpose is to serve the veteran community but, with approximately 35,000 members we also offer support to the wider community including 13 local schools, sporting teams and various community groups.

The role

We're on the hunt for a talented Multimedia Designer to join our dynamic team, reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager. If you’re someone who thrives on turning creative briefs into captivating visuals, and can craft standout advertising (both web and print) and other marketing materials, we want to hear from you.

We're looking for a talented individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong creative flair, and comprehensive knowledge of industry-standard design software and techniques. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a professional approach to balancing creativity with meeting deadlines.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Design print, promotional and digital material for campaigns, events, social media, menus and brochures from concept to final artwork.
• Updating all internal and external digital and print advertising.
• Developing video, digital and print content using the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Printing prepress (packaging files and liaising with printers).
• Working together with teams to plan visual content for marketing campaigns.
• Manage and protect the Currumbin RSL Groups brand assets through logo development and control, brand asset development and best practice guidelines.
• Manage and editing of multiple Wordpress websites.
• Consistently innovate and suggest new design and brand strategies.
• General administration duties
  
  

What You’ll Bring To The Team

• Formal graphic design qualifications (or equivalent experience)
• A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create original graphic designs
• You have great technical skills and understanding of layout, typography, hierarchy, colours etc.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Suite.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple projects
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail i.e.: design, copy and checking of projects
• Can work independently, but is a team player with a willingness to support the wider team.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptive to changing and last minute demands
• Photography/videography skills and knowledge of Wordpress is a plus!
