Responsibilities:

  • Lead supervision activities by analysing data, conducting reviews, and engaging with entities to strengthen risk controls and improve outcomes
  • Translate complex qualitative and quantitative insights on non-financial risk into clear, actionable observations for broader audiences
  • Support the transition from traditional outsourcing models to a broader third-party service provision approach
  • Collaborate across teams and external partners to coordinate effective responses to significant risk events
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, offering expert advice and contributing to internal and external working groups
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and operational efficiency
  • Contribute to policy and regulatory updates by maintaining guidance materials and supporting legislative reviews when required

What you'll need to succeed:

  • At least 10+ years of experience in the Banking & Financial Services sector, with experience around procurement/supplier/third party risk management from a Line 1 or Line 2 perspective
  • Open to exploring candidates from a big 4 consulting firm who have experience around advising entities on CPS230 with a focus on supplier risk
  • You will have substantial organisational, self and priority management skills, including proven ability to lead strategic engagement externally and coordinating cross-divisional processes.
  • High level analysis and problem solving with excellent written and verbal communication skills for advising internal stakeholders and external entities is key to success in this role
  • Tertiary qualifications, risk management qualifications/experience in a field relevant to the role are required.
