The Opportunity
Reporting to the Executive Director, Product Quality and Safety, and leading a national team across education, child safety, and quality assurance, the Director of Quality and Education will:
  • Drive a unified quality strategy, bringing together pedagogy, curriculum, and compliance to lift outcomes across 80+ campuses.
  • Lead and inspire a national team, building capability and consistency through coaching, mentoring, and strategic direction.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement, using data and audits to monitor quality and safety, to guide decision-making, and future-proof compliance.
  • Champion OAC’s unique educational approach, ensuring it reflects sector best practice, regulatory standards, and the needs of children and families.
  • Partner closely with operations and executive teams, bringing influence, insight, and clarity to quality-focused decision-making.
  • Shape and refine team structure, ensuring the right skills, leadership, and resources are in place to deliver impact at scale.
  • Lead engagement regulatory authorities and sector bodies


About You
You’re a confident, strategic leader with deep experience in early childhood education, quality, or compliance—and you're ready to make a big impact. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and what sector leading practice looks like in early learning.
  • A background in pedagogy, curriculum, or compliance—ideally with experience across more than one of these areas.
  • A proven track record of leading teams and lifting performance across multiple sites or regions.
  • The ability to influence, coach and collaborate with a range of stakeholders—from educators to executives.
  • A future-focused mindset with the skills to turn strategy into action and create lasting cultural change.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in early education or a related field.
