SA Health, one of the leading healthcare providers in South Australia, invites applications for a Part-time, Ongoing position as a Inpatient Occupational Therapist at the Southern Fleurieu Health Service within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, based in the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of comprehensive and integrated health services, tailored to the needs of the local community.

AHP1 Level: Under the direct supervision of the AHP2 Occupational Therapist, you will work as part of a multi-professional team, collaborating with health professionals and service providers from various sectors. Utilising a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches, you will play a vital role in promoting well-being and enhancing the quality of life for those you serve.

AHP2 Level: As an AHP2 Occupational Therapist, you will apply clinical experience, increasingly generalist and/or specialist clinical knowledge, and professional competence to plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of services appropriate for the local community. You will work under reduced clinical direction and may contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants, and students.

To excel in this position, you must possess an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification that entitles you to registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. You must fulfill all requirements to achieve and maintain current registration. For appointment at the AHP2 level, you must demonstrate AHP2 level competencies or have a 2-year post-graduate Master's degree with a related allied health undergraduate degree.
