Hulse Family Law is on the lookout for a family law solicitor to add to our team.A Little Bit About Us
We are a specialist family law firm based in Wollongong and Berry. This role is for a lawyer who will work from our Wollongong office centrally located on Market Street.
We work exclusively in family law and provide a specialised service focussed on our clients’ best interests. We have a great client base and offer interesting work and a strong support team to assist you in getting everything done.
We have a supportive team who work collaboratively and embrace innovation and technology. Our firm is modern, paperless, and flexible. We strive to maintain our great team culture and where team members enjoy coming to work and growing in their roles.
We want our team to be fully equipped to serve our clients, so we provide ongoing training and regular specialist family law CLEs.
This is a newly created role as our firm is expanding. The role is full-time (however all interested applicants are encouraged to apply).
A Little Bit About You
- You have a minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in family law (we’d still love to hear from you if don’t quite meet this level or if you’re a more experienced lawyer);
- You have a strong grasp on technology and some experience with legal tech (bonus points if you have used Smokeball, Family Property and the Commonwealth Courts Portal);
- You are proactive, motivated and have the ability to work autonomously;
- You have an understanding of the family law court process;
- You’re happy to appear in court, but see litigation as a last resort for clients;
- You have a genuine interest in family law. Ambitions to become an Accredited Specialist will be encouraged and supported;
- Attention to detail is your thing and you’re a hard worker – there will be busy periods;
- You are a kind and calm person. You genuinely care about your work and your colleagues and you are a team player;
- You recognise the impact the family law process has on clients. You want to help clients to solve their problems.
