Are you highly organised with strong attention to detail? My client is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Port Melbourne.
Our client is seeking a dynamic and highly organised individual to join their team as a Senior Container Coordinator and Sales Support. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, supporting sales teams, overseeing inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the smooth operation of container hire and sales activities. This role is perfect for someone with strong communication skills, experience in logistics or container hire, and a passion for customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Assist the sales team with inquiries, quotations, and order processing for container hire and sales.
- Oversee container inventory, ensuring accurate records and availability for hire and sales.
- Manage the logistics for container delivery and collection, ensuring timely and efficient operations.
- Prepare and manage container hire agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Generate and maintain regular reports on container hire and sales activities, including performance metrics and financial data.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in inventory management, logistics, or administrative coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to analyse data and produce reports.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with inventory management software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the logistics industry is highly regarded.
Working Conditions:
- Environment: Primarily office-based, with occasional site visits to client locations and container facilities.
- Hours: Full-time position with standard business hours, occasional overtime may be required.
