About the role
The Team Leader is responsible for managing the Commonwealth Student Loans workgroup and plays a crucial role in ensuring TAFE SA meets legislative requirements in reporting and management of Commonwealth income contingent loans.

Quality & Compliance Expertise – Hands-on experience with investigations, internal audits, research, data collection, developing policies and procedures to maintain a high-quality operational environment.
Industry Knowledge & Strategic Insight – A deep understanding of:
- The Higher Education and Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector at a state and national level.
- Organisational governance, protocols, and decision-making frameworks.
- The broader funding landscape, government policies, and educational contexts that impact operations.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).

- Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program.
