The Geelong College is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated First VIII Girls Rowing Coach, to actively support the values of The Geelong College in developing and mentoring students to reach their potential as athletes and young people.
Selection Criteria:
- Elite Coaching and/or competition experience
- Level 2 Australian Rowing Coach Accreditation
- Hold a current First Aid (HLTAID 011), CPR (HTLAID 009) and asthma qualification or ability to obtain
- Current Boat Licence or ability to obtain
- Completion of the anaphylaxis qualification or 22578VIC anaphylaxis qualification
- Holder of a current Working with Children Check (WWCC), or ability to obtain
- Computer skills for communication, reporting and data analysis
- Previous experience working specifically with children and/or adolescents
- Integrity, responsibility and respect for others
- Ability to interact with students and other members of staff
- Light rigid licence (desirable)
- Previous experience working in a school environment (desirable)
Essential Requirements
- Level 2 Coaching Accreditation
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
Desirable Criteria
- First Aid Certificate
- Current Provide/Perform CPR
- Emergency Asthma Management
