The National Operations team at McDonald’s have an exciting opportunity for a Barista Trainer to Collaborate with the South Australia team in driving coffee quality improvement through education on an initial 12 month contract, 3 days per week. What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?

  • Providing barista training in line with the schedule
  • Collaborating with managers to assess the current training and equipment
  • Completing and maintaining accurate training documentation and records keeping
  • Uploading Classes on e-learning platform, registrations completions status updates, Class cancellations, Class registration updates where required
  • Creating and sending out certificates to training attendees
  • Communicating and promoting class schedule to the Market to drive uptake of training
  • Creating engaging training material and content (where required)
  • Being responsible for training materials including ordering milk, coffee, paper goods and equipment
  • Conducting McCafe visits alongside Consultants in Restaurants
  • Providing McCafe design and renovation feedback
  • Staying up to date with industry publications and trends to ensure that coffee knowledge remains relevant and current
  • Attending industry events and build a network within the coffee industry
  • Testing and learning new industry equipment and providing clear feedback for validity of use for business

Your keys to success:

* Solid barista skills, experience working in a high volume café & in depth understanding of the coffee industry
* Ability to travel when required
* Customer centric individual who can develop partnerships with stakeholders to improve their coffee experience
* Intermediate Technology Skills Including Use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* A results driven individual with the ability to meet goals, targets and deliver business plan objectives
