This is your opportunity to play a part in delivering a range of complex and diverse projects for government, leveraging the powers of the CG, to drive economic development through industry and infrastructure delivery and successful regional economic transition.- Lead, facilitate and deliver a range of complex and diverse projects and programs for government that drive responsible economic development and infrastructure initiatives.
- Facilitate State and Commonwealth project approvals through enhanced coordination and collaboration, proactively resolving identified risks and barriers, including the use of legislative levers under the State Development and Public Works Organisation Act 1971.
- Develop strategic and solutions focused advice to address technical assessment and State or Commonwealth approval issues, and effectively brief to support the timely and efficient delivery of projects.
- Build and maintain sustained, collaborative relationships with industry and key government stakeholders.
- Manage complex negotiations with stakeholders to achieve the government's strategic goals and integrate economic, environmental and social objectives with industry outcomes.
- Maintain and continue to develop your knowledge through research and networks, using this to mentor and grow your team and to understand local and national priorities, drivers and policy.
- Contribute to and nurture the positive, collaborative and inclusive culture of the Coordination and Delivery Team, and the Office of the Coordinator-General more broadly.
