The Senior Manager, Strategy (Strategic Projects) is an executive strategy and project management role, focused on driving the successful start-up of Western Sydney International Airport and the major redevelopment of Perth Airport. Reporting to the Head of Group Strategic Projects, the role is required to develop, lead and execute strategic opportunities for the future operating model of our Western Hub project plan. This will directly enable executive management to make the highest priority and most significant strategic decisions aligned to Group priorities to ensure successful program delivery at Western Sydney Airport and Perth Airport.

This role will play a critical role in delivering two key projects that support the future success of the Group, with Western Sydney International Airport being only the second major International hub project for the state of NSW and the Perth Airport redevelopment being the single biggest infrastructure investment in the organisations operating history which will help create the Western Hub which has been a long-term strategic goal for the Group.

You’ll have –

• Typically, 10-15 years of professional experience, ideally in external strategy consulting firm
• Tertiary Qualification- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, Masters/MBA desired
• Ideally, experience in strategy consulting and or finance for a large Corporate.
• Superior strategic development, financial, communications and project management skills.
• Ability and confidence to quickly identify key issues, structure a project plan and develop strategic options.
• Thorough understanding of strategic evaluation and financial evaluation techniques.
• Experience in leading project teams and developing staff.
• Aviation industry experience will be beneficial but not essential.
