Description:
- Provide technical accounting guidance to ensure accurate implementation.
- Prepare technical accounting papers and deliver sound judgments on unique issues.
- Support half-year and year-end statutory reporting, including complex disclosures.
- Liaise with external auditors.
- Drive process improvement and elevate financial reporting across the group.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and use your expertise in technical accounting and external reporting to address issues and implement process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- CA/CPA qualified with atleast 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong technical accounting ability and understanding of financial reporting standards.
- Big 4 experience highly regarded.
- Experience auditing large complex clients or relevant industry experience in an ASX Group function.
- Passion for technical and statutory reporting and high attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
