Position Overview: The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across different departments to gather requirements, analyze data, and provide actionable insights. This role will involve a combination of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration to ensure that projects are aligned with business objectives and delivered effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to understand business needs and challenges.
- Data Analysis:
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Provide reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes.
- Business Process Improvement:
- Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for automation, cost savings, and process enhancements.
- Project Management Support:
- Assist in the creation of project plans and timelines.
- Track project progress and ensure that deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the liaison between business users and technical teams.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Solution Design & Documentation:
- Work with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements.
- Document business processes, system workflows, and functional requirements.
- Testing & Validation:
- Support the testing process by creating test plans, test cases, and performing user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate that solutions meet business needs and are implemented effectively.
- Change Management:
- Assist in the adoption of new systems and processes.
- Provide training and support to users during the implementation of new solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in [industry, e.g., finance, healthcare, etc.].
- Strong understanding of business processes, data analysis, and requirements gathering techniques.
- Experience with business analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Jira, Tableau, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of data modeling and database management.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
