Job Description
As a Social Media Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our strategy across social media. You will be responsible for the individual strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Linkedin. As well as coordinating all of the content across the channels.
The overall goal is to generate leads through organic socials. The sub goal is to increase engagement and followings across the platforms. The primary channels are Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok and Linkedin.
You will have access to a video editor for content creation.
Key Responsibilities
Content Direction
- Develop the content strategy for various channels
- Maximise the content created for uniformity across platforms. For example if we have a video theme for youtube, can we create a reel, a tiktok and a linkedin post to be sent out at the same time.
- Ensure content is aligned to the overall goal to grow the business.
- Develop visually appealing and engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. This includes the content copy and headings.
- Create Tiktoks and Reels with our CEO for the respective platforms. We want you to come up with the initial ideas and manage their execution. Testing is a big part of this role to ensure we are always at the forefront with our content.
- Manage content calendars and schedule posts across various social media platforms using social media management tools.
- Utilising a scheduling software for efficiency is encouraged
- Monitor comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms weekly
- Respond to inquiries and comments promptly. Foster a sense of community and connection with our followers.
- Manage a weekly social media metrics tracker. This will track followers, subscribers and leads generated.
