  • The ability to work autonomously within an agile, multi-disciplinary team

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with SC team members and other stakeholders to deliver timely online services for OIR.
  • Assist and mentor other team members.
  • Resolve technical website issues as they occur, escalating when necessary.
  • Take a leading role in developing and implementing policies, processes, and systems for efficient management of the department's online presence.
  • Support the Principal Online Officer and Director to raise OIR's profile with industry and external audiences, and lead the delivery of high quality, accurate digital services to support an integrated communication approach that promotes OIRs programs, initiatives and goals.
  • Provide expert and timely advice to the Principal Online Officer on project progress, metrics, issues that may impact on service delivery and new and emerging communication innovations that may enhance digital stakeholder awareness and engagement.
  • Actively engage in a multi-disciplinary, agile team environment.
  • Ensure work is of a professional, consistent quality, to budget and in accordance with SC standard operating procedures, WC3 accessibility guidelines, Queensland Government consistent user experience standards, and writing and style guides.

Our workforce needs to be able to respond quickly to new and emerging priorities. You may be required to undertake alternative duties or work in alternative locations on a temporary or permanent basis to support service delivery.
