Join us and help us grow.The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Asia Pacific and Japan Global Sales Operations (APJ AGS GSO) team is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to assist in planning, analyzing, operationally executing, and running the major cadences of the APJ AGS business. This includes overseeing the Monthly Metric Review (MMR), the APJ AGS leadership team Business Metric Review (BMR), and the Area BMR processes. The Sales Operations Manager ensures these critical business reviews run smoothly and provide the necessary data, insights, and recommendations to drive the APJ AGS business forward. You will have the ability to earn trust through performance and relationship building, have strong business acumen and a deep analytic background to assist the team in meeting its objectives.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end MMR process for the APJ AGS business, including coordinating data collection, analysis, presentation preparation, and facilitation of the monthly review meeting.
- Oversee the APJ AGS leadership team BMR, ensuring all necessary metrics, performance updates, and action items are captured and communicated effectively.
- Coordinate the Area BMR process across the different APJ Areas, aggregating data and insights to provide a comprehensive Area view.
- Identify opportunities to improve the operating cadence and reporting processes, implementing process enhancements and automation where possible.
- Partner closely with the regional sales leadership team to understand business priorities and translate them into meaningful metrics and reporting.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner, providing data-driven recommendations to support decision-making and drive business growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other geo and global teams to ensure alignment and consistency in cadence and performance management.

Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in a sales operations or business operations role, preferably in a global, matrixed organization.- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field
- Strong project management and process improvement skills, with the ability to streamline and optimize complex reporting workflows.
- Excellent data analysis and visualization capabilities, with proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau.- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with sales performance metrics and business review processes.
- Experience working in the Asia Pacific and Japan geo, with an understanding of the diverse markets and cultures, is preferred.
